Tuesday Tips for STRETCHING a Dollar

One of the things that Jill and I are doing now is getting quotes on our Homeowner and Auto insurance to ensure we are getting the best price possible.
We have collected all of our current information together and are shopping for prices for comparable coverage from multiple companies. I know of some individuals and couples that have saved hundreds of dollars a year by shopping their insurance.
The danger in NOT SHOPPING, is in ignoring our insurance and simply paying the premiums when the bill comes, we miss out on keeping our insurance provider accountable for giving us the best price possible. They can raise their premiums slightly over time and we may not notice.
