Monday after Sunday Random Thoughts

Jun 02

I had a great Sunday, but more importantly I am hearing that everyone at CATG had a great Sunday!

I left Sunday morning to attend another young church in the Metro Atlanta area with my good friend and neighbor Billy Guy.  This is something that I rarely get to do, but something I think is important for my personal growth and development as well as the growth and development of CATGrove.  We went to Cartersville and worshiped at Oakleaf Church and I was able to have lunch with my good friend Will Goodwin.  I will blog separately about my experience there and what I learned later today.

  • I keep hearing rave reviews about Nathan’smessage!  I can’t wait to download it to my Ipod and listen to it!  Read what Nathan said about the morning here.
  • I have heard as well about the worship, the band and the incredible job that Ric and the guys did yesterday!  Is it the rumor true that Mike McHugh came off the stage during a guitar solo?
  • I understand that we had a great crowd and had a number of visitors.  A girl from my former youth group has moved to Loganville and was there.  Wow, I am getting old!  She has grown up!
  • I am real excited about this next week and this next month with the OnePrayer series and having one service for one month.  I am hoping and praying that we have to go back to one service as soon as possible because we are reaching people.  I am going to write a post about why? we do two services and how it ultimately helps us reach people in the long run.  I am excited about OnePrayer, One Church, and One Service for at least One Month!  It is going to be a great experience and God is doing something in over 100 churches in the same time period all over the world.
  • What would your One Prayer be?
  • I am excited and over-flowing with ideas about getting us ready to reach more people!  I am planning to spend much of this summer getting CATGrove ready for HUGE impact this fall.
  • I will see you at 10am for One Service this Sunday.  Help us get the word out!
