I hear that Petsmart and Michael Vick have agreed to a new promotional deal!
It is true also that Paris Hilton will begin a new prison ministry in Hollywood!
Alec Baldwin wins the father of the year award!
And Bart Simpson SHOULD really be in the fourth grade!
Does CHARACTER matter anymore?
I feel like tendering my resignation as a fan of professional sports. Our own Atlanta falcon QB is connected to dogfighting! I know I shouldn’t prejudge him. No one should know about stuff like that going on at the property they own! There is an NBA referee connected to the MOB and gambling. Baseball players are using steroids. Riders were kicked out of the Tour de France for doping.
Celebrities cannot get it together! Paris Hilton is drinking and driving! Alec Baldwin is threatening his daughter, Brittney has gone mental, and Lindsey Lohan is strung out!
Bart Simpson can’t get out of the fourth grade! But that is understandable since Bart is a character in a fantasy land! In Fantasy land no one has to be accountable for their actions! Character doesn’t matter!
I think that is the problem with pro athletes and celebrities! They live in fantasy land! They believe they are above being accountable for anything they do. That is an absolute FANTASY!
Character does matter! And whether we are held accountable here or in eternity, we will be held accountable.
I know friends in ministry that live in fantasy world and do not realize that their character matters!

The life we live has the power to influence. If we use our power, giftedness, and strength to benefit ourselves, that makes us a BULLY! Let’s live our lives with character! It does matter, it brings God Glory, and it enhances OTHER lives!
