Incredible Generosity!

I am so excited and proud of our CATGrovers and the way people have responded in their generosity the past couple of weeks! We have completed two weeks of our new teaching series “Rich Man Poor Man”. We are taking a look at what scripture says about our personal finances and possessions and how we can impact the world through faithful management. We have seen an incredible response! We have had an unprecedented two weeks of offerings. Thank you for your generosity!
The most exciting part of this past Sunday is that along with a great offering, we had seven $100 gifts for our upcoming “Shop with a Hero” ministry AND someone donated an offering to specifically help with a sweet lady in our community with a very ill son. I called her yesterday to tell her we are able to give some help and she simply bawled her eyes out. She is having a rough time with a terminally ill son that could pass away any time and the hardship that has come with it.
I love it when God works in the hearts of people and you see such a response of generosity and willingness to be obedient to God’s leadership.
I challenged everyone to take a step of faith in their giving this Sunday. I asked that everyone bring a “tithe” offering this week to demonstrate the incredible potential we would have to impact this community and the world if we could trust God and “test” Him in this area of our life. I can’t wait to see how God works and how we can continue to do ministry in this community and around the world!
