God honoring Celebration of Life!

I experienced one of the most worshipful celebrations of someone’s passing yesterday at the funeral of Scott Williams. Scott is the twin brother of one of my best friends Steve. Steve and Janis helped us start Church at the Grove.
Pastor Dave Crandall of Christ Community Church in Conyers was an excellent leader taking us on a journey of meditation of true eternal life.
He had a children’s sermon and taught them about death using the metaphor of “jumping the rope”. You had to be there, but it was great.
It was a God-honoring, God-glorifying gathering of the church celebrating the passing of a saint. Scott loved Jesus and wanted to glorify Him in his sickness and death.
