A churchplanter’s missional influence in the lives of those “least likely to go to church”.

George Walton Students are Awesome

November 1st, 2007 Posted in Community, Culture, Jesus, Missional

Yesterday I had the distinct honor and privilege to share some time with the Bible Literature class at George Walton Academy in Monroe, Georgia per invitation of Sharon Shackleford.  You must know that Sharon is one of the sweetest, godliest ladies I know.  She loves God and is a true student of God’s Word.  She teaches an incredible group of students at George Walton

These students welcomed me with open arms and were so polite.  They asked some great questions and offered some great insight on their generation’s perspective of the Church and the Bible.

Sharon asked me to come and share about my trip to Israel two years ago and also share about some of the conversations I experienced while sharing Yeshua (Jesus) with the Jewish people while there.  We had some great conversation with the students regarding how we can journey with people in ongoing conversations about Jesus in OUR CULTURE HERE.

I told the students that their picture would be online by this morning and they are supposed to help me set a new record for the number of blog hits in a day.  Hey George Walton students!  I am counting on you!  You guys ROCK!
