I have a question that doesn’t pertain to your blog post, however I thought it would be a good open discussion. If the apostalic fathers learned directly from the apostles, and likewise the apostles from Jesus, why has “sola scriptura” protestant based churches dismissed all the ritual that supposedly came from the apostalic fathers. I read that Ignatius of Antioch wrote (from his personal experience and training from Peter) that the Church is truly catholic. Ignatius dressed and served like a catholic priest, so it would be logical that Peter did as well. Furthermore, is the eucharist not so vital that merits being taken each and every Sunday?
