Terry Little is the regional church starting strategist for the East Atlanta Metro area and also consults for the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Terry is important for a number of reasons. He is my personal mentor, his family has made their home at CATGrove (His wife Carol, sons Caleb and Micah and their beautiful daughter Catherine), and he gives our church great insight and direction on a weekly basis. Pray for Terry as he continues to give leadership to many churches and church planters in our area and around the state.
Chip Wheeler and Aaron Arledge are the two church planters for the River Hills Church in the Bold Springs/Winder area. This is the first church we have offered financial support for and they launch this coming September! This is exciting! Pray for these guys and their families as they continue to lead.
Scott McInnis has been one of my best friends for a number of years now. We have been involved in ministry together and took classes together at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Scott is launching Wellspring Church this fall in Senoia, GA in Coweta County. Scott has a vision to reach people and equip families. Pray for Scott as he continues to lead. I am going with Craig this week to meet with Scott’s Launch Team to encourage, cast vision, and give them some practical direction for their coming launch in October.
Adam Walker is a friend who is stepping out in faith to plant a church over the next two years. Adam will be joining the staff at Westridge Church for the next year for training and equipping in church planting/pastoring. He will launch a church yet to be named somewhere in the Atlanta area. Adam is a dear friend and is extremely gifted in many areas. Pray for Adam. Check out his blog. You will absolutely enjoy it!
A huge part of our vision at CATGrove is to be a church planting Center and to continually be a part of a multiplying church planting movement.
Join me in praying that CATGrove will continue to reach people from the first generations to be born in a post-Christian America. We seek to lead people to follow Jesus and Make Disciples. We do this through creating environments, encouraging relationships and starting discussions.
God is to good to be kept to ourselves!
