Atlanta Union Mission Project

My friend Dave Crewey has been involved in a ministry to the homeless people of Atlanta at the Atlanta Union Mission at Christmas for over 10 years. He is saying that the numbers of people in the homeless shelter are much higher than usual this year.
In the past he has been able to raise around $12,000 and give a $100 gift card to every woman and child in the shelter and they create a very meaningful Christmas experience for those in need during the Christmas season.
This year the women with children has grown to 30! The total number of children is at least 70 and there are an estimated 56 women at the shelter that do not have children.
That is a total of 156 women and children that are in need of ministry!
The Christmas project currently has raised $9000.00 but would need over $15000.00 to take care of all of these women and children.
Please do 2 things:
- Pray for the necessary funds to come in to meet the needs of these women and children.
- Please pass this on to other people, businesses and organizations that may have the means to make a donation to the AUM Christmas Project.
