I am increasingly becoming disenchanted with Christians and Christian leaders bashing other Christian leaders in print, through preaching and in blogs.

Aren’t we on the same team?

Check out this blog post from Steven Furtick.  He waxes eloquently regarding the issue.  And check out this blog post by Perry Noble.  He hits a bullseye on the issue.

We have generations now that have been born and raised in a post-Christian culture that desperately need to hear the truth of Jesus!  Shouldn’t we rally together to take the gospel of Jesus to people that have yet to hear and trust the message and forgiveness of Christ?

We have a job to do that should occupy our attention and time!

I have been reading through 1 Timothy and these verses state our mission well.  1 Timothy 1:5; 1 Timothy 1:15; 1 Timothy 2:4

YES, we should be aware of false teachings, but the best way to keep people from drifting toward counterfeits, is to focus on the authentic and genuine!  The authentic and genuine truth of Jesus is simple!  He died on the cross to redeem people and He has chosen to use us to spread the good news!

We have limited time and resources.

Stop bashing people you don’t know!  Focus on reaching your neighbor!  Focus on Jesus!
